Three generations raised on olive oil
Our story began in the late 1960s with Ugo Di Giulio, a pasta maker by trade but a farmer at heart. In the olive grove, he found what was, for him, the essence of life: hard work rewarded by the fruit of the land. We, his children and grandchildren, founded Società Agricola Giardini Di Giulio in 2009 to carry on and continue this work, renewing our family tradition through the most modern methods of cultivation, harvesting and milling.

Born and raised in Tocco da Casauria
Our village has always been devoted to olive growing: this is shown by the hectares of olive groves surrounding the town, the centuries-old trees scattered across the countryside, and a long agricultural tradition that stretches from popular memory back to medieval chronicles.
What makes this part of the Pescara Valley particularly suited to olive cultivation is the balance between landform and climate. The wind that constantly blows from the Tremonti gorge down into the valley dries the trees, limiting the development of fungal diseases. The limestone soil of the hill, rich in mineral components, naturally drains water and allows the plants to develop a strong and stable root system.
The combination of these and other factors helps define the aromatic profile of the olives, creating an ideal microclimate for the production of quality oils.
